{"id":1493,"date":"2021-06-01T11:07:06","date_gmt":"2021-06-01T09:07:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.atelierlav.com\/?p=1493"},"modified":"2026-06-20T10:35:53","modified_gmt":"2026-06-20T08:35:53","slug":"snappap","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.atelierlav.com\/en\/snappap\/","title":{"rendered":"SnapPap"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.snap-pap.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SnapPap<\/a> is one of my favourite discoveries of recent years \u2013\na special creative paper that combines the advantages of paper and fabric.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SnapPap is machine washable, can be dyed, printed and sewn with a sewing machine \u2013 making it wonderfully suited to textile creations of all kinds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The material consists of more than 60% cellulose, obtained from trees of northern European, sustainably managed forests (mainly spruce). The remaining ingredients are latex and colour pigments. SnapPap is vegan, contains neither pentachlorophenol, PVC nor BPA \u2013 and is neither harmful to the environment nor to health. It is produced in Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What particularly excites me: SnapPap is tear-resistant, can be worked without finishing the edges and is easy to sew.
