At Let's Spring four different approaches from the
alternative art scene come together – to enter into
dialogue with one another in a shared exhibition space.
LizzfArts transfers her freedom and creativity onto various media: from paper and postcards through fabric painting
to three-dimensional objects.
In workshops she invites others to give themselves
a space for free, creative work.
Suhrealismus installs a Self Portrait Station – everyone is invited to draw themselves via a mirror.
Directly confronted with one's momentary self, entirely in the spirit of „Mental Health Matters". Additionally she presents finished portraits and buttons with psychological motifs.
Schwanzmanufaktur shows Porcelain Penises in a surprising, considered and aesthetic way.
Decorative. Demonstrative. Intense.
Atelier LAV presents 62 different unique textile pieces as an interactive installation in the art space.
In doing so, questions are posed:
– on the immanent commodity character of fine art
– on the relationship between art and production
– on the juxtaposition of elitist and applied art
And much more.
